Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

Return Policy

Standard products purchased as a "Developer's Kit", "Application Kit," or single units purchased as an "Evaluation Product" may be returned in good condition and in original packaging within 45 days of purchase with no restocking fees.

All other standard products and quantity orders may be returnable within 45 days of purchase, subject to a restocking fee and other handling charges. Any product that is custom designed or modified is sold as non-returnable and may not be returned for credit for any reason.

Repair Policy

All embeddedTS products come with a full one-year warranty. Items damaged during this one-year warranty are eligible for repair or replacement under the terms and conditions of the warranty. RMAs processed at the end of the warranty period should be returned promptly to guarantee warranty repair.

After the expiration of the warranty period, embeddedTS charges a service charge for all repairs. Simply return the unit to us as an RMA and our technicians will troubleshoot the problem and provide a quote for the repair of the unit.


RMA shipping to embeddedTS must be paid by the customer. embeddedTS will pay return shipping on RMAs that are determined to be under warranty using the lowest-cost shipping method. For out of warranty repairs, the customer pays shipping charges both ways.


As of 9/19/2018, embeddedTS no longer participates in customer 'Buy-Back' programs for products that are returned for RMA repair.  No Credit Memo will be extended when units are received for repair.  The existing RMA Return, Repair, and Shipping policies found at https://www.embeddedts.com/support/rma will continue with no changes.
